Tiscali and Gilat Satellite Networks, an Israeli company listed on Nasdaq and among the world’s leading suppliers of technology for satellite networks, have reached an agreement for the supply of a pan-European bi-directional satellite Internet on broadband. The new service will offer high-speed Internet access invitation to the public consumer. Tiscali is testing the new service with a select group of users and plans to start marketing it next fall.
